What is PostAgile?
Since the Agile Manifesto was published in 2001, Agile has been a rip-roaring success, powering social media, fintech and digital government. We are not here to knock Agile. It’s been a blaze!
But, like most great success stories, Agile has developed its own bureaucracy. Methodologies and ceremonies can get burdensome, and don't move fast enough for PE and VC funders. With models, certifications and frameworks like SAFe, it can seem like the tail is wagging the dog.
Agile empowers delivery teams. But great techies aren’t always great at financial strategy. PE and VC owners typically have huge business acumen: maximising their transparency and control will increase ROI. Owners want clarity - delivery teams who commit to costs and deadlines, not just Agile Points.

Agile tools are often too binary in how they handle risk. PostAgile financial models should use conditional probabilities and economic discounting to get the very best value from the uncertain, dynamic, new world.
